Announcement and welcome

Messages every customer sees after signing in.

Announcement Shown at the top of the portal for everyone. Leave it empty to hide it. Announcement style Welcome message Shown under the customer's name after they sign in.

Customer shipping address

The address customers copy when they shop online.

Address lines The address customers use when they shop online. In any field, {full_name}, {first_name}, {last_name} and {account} are replaced with each customer's own details.

Account numbers

New customers get a number made from your prefix and a set number of digits. Numbers your warehouse customers already use are always skipped.

PrefixLetters, numbers and -, up to 10 characters. Number of digits3 to 10. Four digits allows up to 9,999 customers.

Format

SequentialEach new customer gets the next number: 0001, 0002, 0003… RandomUnpredictable numbers, so nobody can guess how many customers you have.

Online sign-up

Personal accounts are active as soon as the customer confirms their email. Business accounts also need approval under Customers > Online sign-ups.

Your pickup locations. Customers see their branch's address, hours and contact details in the portal and on their invoices. Branches marked From the warehouse appear automatically after a sync.

Branches

Search, add or edit a branch. Click a branch to change its address, hours and contacts.

The statuses your customers see. A status marked for a warehouse stage is used automatically for packages you haven't set by hand. Each stage can have one.

Click a colour circle to choose that status's colour. It's used in the Package Status column, the package page, the dashboards and your customers' portal. Use ↺ to go back to the standard colour.

Rename them, link them to warehouse stages and pick their colours.

Tracking numbers in the Packages list are links. We work out the carrier from how the number looks (for example 1Z… is UPS), and open that carrier's tracking page. Customers get the same links in their portal.

How tracking opens

Carriers don't allow their pages inside other sites, so tracking opens in its own window.

Carriers we recognise

Untick a carrier to stop linking its numbers. Change a link if the carrier moves its tracking page; {n} is where the number goes. Smaller carriers go to 17TRACK, which tracks them all.

Your own carriers

For a carrier we don't know, or to send some numbers somewhere else. These are checked first. Say how the numbers start (several with commas), how long they are, or both.

Super admins see everything and manage staff, statuses and settings. Everyone else only sees the locations and sections you choose for them.
